Known as the “Godmother of Cooking”, we are thrilled to announce that Sherri Williams has joined our Kansas City Steak Cook Team at the World Food Championships.
Taking place in Orange Beach, AL from November 9-13, we have assembled a star-studded competitor lineup in each major category.
Representing us in the Sandwich Category, Sherri has a few surprises up her sleeve in her quest for the $100,000 Grand Prize.
Her followers have seen her on Food Network, the Travel Channel, TODAY Show and Good Morning America among other local, regional and national outlets.
She qualified for the World Food Championships through “Taste of America” after winning over 70 contests the last five years.
When asked what she’s most looking forward to about competing in the World Food Championships, Sherri said, “Cooking live, seeing old and new foodie peeps, and of course winning the $100,000 while representing The Kansas City Steak Company.”
2016 marks her fifth year competing at the World Food Championships, this year focusing on the Sandwich Category.
“I’ve been called the ‘Sandwich Queen.’ I make at least 4-5 sandwiches on a weekly basis. I can elevate a good sandwich to an AMAZEBALLS sandwich winner with my flavor profile and creativity. All while staying cool, calm and collected.”
