The 12 Steaks of Christmas (and all the merriment that goes with it)

By Kansas City Steak Company

‘Tis the season, or so the saying goes. So, we decided to get in on all the jolliness with “The 12 Steaks of Christmas”. That’s 12 days where we’ll be asking our Facebook followers to share memories, side dishes, or family traditions on our page.

Each day, we’ll also feature one steak as a gift for a randomly selected person who shares on our Facebook page that day. For everyone else, we’ll be posting promotional codes on most of the days for special discounts and offers.

So, check out our Facebook page from December 7th through the 18th to enter to win and see our daily promotions. And, as a little teaser, here are the 12 steaks we’ll be giving away in what we would consider the perfectly ordered 12 Steaks of Christmas.

The 12 steaks of Christmas

For the first steak of Christmas, our true love would gift us Top Sirloin Wrapped in Hickory Bacon.  That’s way more satiating than a partridge. Though a pear tree would be kind of cool, but where would we plant it this time of year?

For the second steak of Christmas, our true love would gift us Super TrimmedTM Filet Mignon with Bacon – because that one piece of bacon on yesterday’s sirloin would leave us wanting more bacon.  And we doubt we could get enough meat off the turtle doves.

For the third steak of Christmas, our true love would forgo the French Hens and follow up with a run of 3 French-inspired petite 2oz Filet Mignon Medallions for us to lift delicately into our mouths as we held the wonder the season in a tiny, flavorful package.

For the fourth steak of Christmas, our true love would know by now that even four birds just doesn’t stand up to quality beef and, instead, gift us a cut of USDA Prime Top Sirloin Steak, because the gift of the top 5-6% of steak out there would be our favorite gift of the season – at least that day.

For the fifth steak of Christmas, our true love would gift us a thick and meaty Top Sirloin Steak, which would be just as valuable as 5 golden rings.

For the sixth steak of Christmas, our true love would gift us a Petite Ribeye steak so we could practice savoring every bite of the tender eight ounces. Also, fun fact, geese don’t lay in winter.

For the seventh steak of Christmas, our true love would gift us a classic, richly flavored Kansas City Strip Steak. Absolutely no swimming swans, it’s really cold out there, and we just can’t imagine it.

For the eighth steak of Christmas, our true love would gift us Super TrimmedTM Filet Mignon. We don’t need the eight milking maids, we switched from dairy to meat cattle awhile back.

For the ninth steak of Christmas, our true love would gift us our old standby – The Ribeye – to delight our every taste-bud. Let’s not bring up the dancing ladies…

For the tenth steak of Christmas, we would leap like ten lords – or dance like nine ladies – to be gifted filet mignon wrapped in flaky puff pastry, or that winter favorite, Beef Wellington.

For the eleventh steak of Christmas, our true love would create for us the perfect Steakburger.  And if eleven pipers played while we dined, we’d be ok with that. It would just add to the grandeur of our evening.

For the twelfth steak of Christmas, drum roll please, twelve drummers, our true love would top off the season with a juicy T-Bone Steak. We would make it a joyfully shared dinner for two.

Merry Christmas, and see you on our Facebook page
